Advice
When travelling with kids, don't leave home without
travel insurance.
Be sure that all members of your family have emergency medical insurance. Check the cancellation penalties on everything you have paid for in advance and on any reservations that are being held with your credit card guarantee of payment. Then ensure that you have adequate "last minute" cancellation coverage.
"We don't need it; we're going anyway", doesn't hold true for kids who come down with ear infections or chicken pox, believe me.
