Kids Meals and Other Special Meals
Most regularly scheduled airlines no longer offer free meal services,
but have a limited menu of food items for purchase as well as a free
snack.
-
Most
charters still offer meal service (few choices)
-
The new
"no-frills" budget airlines usually don't serve anything
except pretzels.
-
Don't assume that you will have access to infant food services on any airline.
-
If food is
important, fly prepared to be self sufficient and allow for flight
delays.
-
If you or your child have food allergies.....pack a lunch.
Baggage Allowance Checked/Carry-on
This varies according to
-
Airlines used -
according to the carrier
-
Final Destination and connecting points
-
Travel dates
-
Infants and other Fly Free tickets
Don't assume. Ask. Most airlines have recently changed their allowance.
Excess or overweight baggage can be denied and/or additional costs may
apply which can be very high.
Remember any ticket purchased adult/child has the same baggage allowance.
Restrictions of maximum number of bags, overall dimensions and weight are always applied. <Back
