Country: England and France
City: London, Paris, Portsmouth, Salisbury and more...

Next we drove to York. In York we saw York Minster. After York we drove to Oxford. In Oxford we saw Oxford University. We got to Oxford on a weekend so we had to stay just outside of Oxford in a town called Maidenhead. After Oxford we drove to Windsor.

In Windsor we went to one of Queen Elizabeth’s houses. I’m talking about Windsor castle. That castle was huge! We only got to see some of the room’s in the castle. I was so amazed with Windsor castle. Just before the castle opened we went to an old fashioned car show. One car that we saw was built by hand. A man and his nephew made it. After seeing Windsor castle, the next day we went on a two-hour cruise of the river Thames.

After the cruise we drove to Gatwick. We stopped in a small town called Burton-on-water. In that town, there is a small village called the model village. We didn’t get to see the village because we had no time. After Burton-on-water we drove to Gatwick. We stayed the night in the Europa Hotel. My dad took the car back to the rental place. The next day we went to the airport and flew home.

(I forgot to mention some things that we saw. In London we went to Westminster Abbey. Also we went to the Science museum. I forgot to say that I also went to Notre Dame in Paris.)

All in all I had a great time on my trip. It was a lot of fun and I hope I can do it again soon.  I wish we could have seen more but we ran out of time.  In the end I had a whole lot of fun.

I’d have to say that my favorite part of our trip was seeing Stonehenge. I loved everything we did on the trip. I also loved seeing a house that the Queen lives in and also going inside a house that the Queen lives in. In the end I wish we could have stayed longer. I hope we can go again someday.

So thank you for all your help to organize our trip. Thanks “Let’s take the Kids Travel”.  I hope we can see you again.
