Country:
Mexico
Cities: Playa Del Carmen
Resort: El Caracol Village
|
| Once
back to shore, we visited the new Aquarium located in a
Mall along Cancun’s hotel strip. Here we are sitting
next to a stingray, and believe it or not, they even let
us touch him!!! Mami and Papi tell me I’ll be able to
swim with the Dolphins here when I’m older, I can’t
wait! |

With
the stingray! |

Tulum |
In
Tulum, the Mayan ruins were breathtaking as was the
spectacular view of the ocean up top the cliff. Note the
mask on the corner of the structure - (it may be too
small to see in this picture). |
| Xelha
is the world’s most unbelievable natural aquarium. The park is filled with wildlife and. some of my favorites
were the toucans, dolphins, turtles, iguanas and
parrots. |

Of
course, the highlight of the park is its many bays and
lagoons where sea water is mixed with fresh water from
underground rivers where you can snorkel for hours –
we even came within 2 feet of a stingray! Here’s a
photo of a beautiful toucan.
Well,
that concludes the short glimpse of our fun-filled week
in Mexico. Again, thanks for helping us plan our
vacation and I hope next year we can stay even longer |
