In Memorium: Warna Roa

About Before your trip

Dear Clients and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my mother, Warna Roa, beloved widow of her late husband, Luis Roa, owners/operators  of Let’s Take the Kids Travel. She passed away peacefully Saturday, January 21st with family by her side.

She will be greatly missed by me, by her daughter Maritala, her best friend Velma and her son Emree, her sister Ruth Penny, daughter in law Isabel Roa, and son in law Alex Robinson, her 5 grandchildren, all her family and friends, and of course Hachi her loyal dog!

She was a strong and hard working, independent woman. No one could have asked for a better life filled with love, family, friends, and lots fun times! She was the glue which connected three cultures to live together and created a unique family and set of friends. She brought together the cultures of Canada, Venezuela, and Jamaica under one roof, one love, one people.

There is so much I want to say and express about the woman who brought life to me and my sister, brought us up travelling the world, and with whom I have had the pleasure of working with for the past 20+ years. She was an avid entrepreneur who had endless ideas and always did what she wanted!

She showed me that nothing was impossible if I set my mind to it, and encouraged us all to do what we love and to not give up. She was my rock and my inspiration. She will be missed!

Edmundo Roa
