Just writing to let you know that Disney went off without a hitch, we all had a good time. Thanks for the tip of knowing our exact address at the airport - it made filling out the paperwork go much smoother.
We enjoyed staying on site and the transit service at Disney is great! The Riverside is a nice hotel and the rooms were a good location - close to the main hotel, while not being so close to have lots of foot traffic.
The dining plan was good, albeit a bit confusing and variable depending on what cashier you spoke to. After being told by a cashier that Matt could order an adult QuickService meal it provided for a few more options for him (I think she may have thought that he was older than he is). We found that just 3 meals (even 2 adult and one kid) if done strategically, often provided more than enough food for the 4 of us. If we needed an extra dessert or drink, then we could just apply it as a snack on our plan.
Some cashiers told us that we got 2 drinks with adult QS breakfasts - not sure why, but your clients may want to ask. As for restaurant recommendations our favourites were Boma and Teppan Edo. I found that Disney also did fine with providing a vegetarian option at every fast food and sit down restaurant. It would have been really nice if we had the option to choose either a dessert or appetizer with the meal plan - usually I don't have a dessert, so one at every meal was more than I wanted.
For rides - our guys liked the Honey I Shrunk the kids playground at Hollywood Studios - they had fun just playing - it's hidden away, but worth checking out. Thomas, although not keen on most fast or big-kid rides, really liked the Test Track at EPCOT as did the rest of us. Thanks for your recommendation for the 3D Micky movie - we saw it twice. It was also great that we didn't bother with the water parks - the weather wasn't catering to it.
Thank you for all your help with the trip - we had a great time. We'll be back in touch when we're planning our next trip somewhere warm.
