Edmundo has had the travel bug since, well, …. pretty much birth. Having been born in Kingston Jamaica to a Venezuelan father, and a Canadian mother, he has been moving and travelling ever since. After a short time in Jamaica his family left the land of wood and water and moved to Caracas, Venezuela. After many years in Venezuela they made their way to Ottawa, Canada. But their travels did not stop there. Once in Ottawa they moved for a short time to both Montreal, Quebec and San Jose, California. Eventually settling down for good in Ottawa at the age of 13.
His parent’s passion for business, family, and travel, had them venture into a new line work, the travel industry. That many yeas ago Let’s Take the Kids Travel was born out of the entrepreneurial spirit of his parents.
Today Edmundo lives in Ottawa with his wife, daughter, and son, and continues the same passion for travel with his own family. Edmundo has been to over 25 countries, many more than twice, alone and with his wife and kids. He has stayed in places which you would say are 0 stars to beautiful resorts that are 5+. They’ve climbed mountains far above sea level to swimming with the fishes far below, …. and everything in between!
Edmundo has been a travel consultant for over 21 years with Let's Take the Kids Travel and love’s planning family travel, especially adventure travel to off the beaten track destinations.
